Charles the First is a forty foot trad narrowboat with attractive steelwork, recessed side panels to stern of cabin and 'rivetted' stem. She has all portholes, steel side doors, steel stern doors and steel stable bow doors. Steerers stern deck and large forward well deck. This good looking shell is well set off by nice paintwork.

The interior makes good use of space and provides for comfortable cruising for two. Lining is in mellow oak veneered ply giving a warm comfortable feel. She has just been the subject of refitting including both joinery and shower and galley equipment. New carpet has been laid and the shower retiled.
