
General Description Seagull is a 57ft trad narrowboat built by Stirling Boats in 2004. Externally she has very nice paintwork completed in 2009 in midnight blue with white coachline setting off the brass finish windows and ports (all resealed at same time). Internally her fit out maximises available space to combine excellent facilities, good storge and comfortable living with nicely executed joinery. Detailed Description Hull - 10/6/5/4mm steel, last blacked October 2009 and new anodes. Engine - Vetus M4 32hp diesel. Generator - Electrolux 230v 16amp Travelpower. Inverter - Sterling 1500w pure sine wave. Battery charger - Mobitronic 12v 45amp twin output. Shore hook up - with galvanic isolator. Batteries - One 72a/h start battery and two 135a/h domestic batteries. Space heating - Acorn solid fuel stove in saloon. Central heating - Eberspacher diesel boiler to three radiators. Water heating - boiler, engine or immersion to calorifier. Water tank - stainless steel 545 litre. Bath - Shower over. Toilet - Thetford C200 cassette. Cooker - Spinflo LPG. Fridge - Lec Shoreline 12v with freezer compartment. Microwave - yes. Insulation - Sprayfoam. Lining material - Oak faced ply/mahogany trim. Furniture - Oak faced ply/mahogany trim. Flooring - Laminate wood effect. Engine room - Fully lined with cupboard storage, hanging space. FM radio, boxing over engine. Bedroom - Fixed double with cupboard over and drawer and cupboard storage under. Double wardrobe vanity unit with mirror over and cupboard under. Bathroom - Self contained bathroom with bath and shower over, vanity unit with hand basin and toilet, shaving point and expanding mirror. Dinette - Pullman four seater converting to double berth. Storage in box seats and half bulkhead to galley. Galley - U-shaped for easy operation leaving corridor clear. Good storage in base and wall units including space for a washing machine (accessed from saloon). Built in cooker with hob lid, microwave, fridge, sink/drainer and wine racks. Saloon - The open plan saloon adds to the spacious large living area afforded by the dinette, galley and saloon. There are removeable bookshelves each side and a corner cupboard with TV point and shelves over. The solid fuel stove is in the opposite corner. Glazed double doors to the bow well deck. Forward well deck - Locker/seats each side with glazed cratch board and cover over. Nav Eqpmnt and External - Bow and stern fenders. Plank and pole. Large custom made storage box to roof. Overview - Seagull combines a 'go anywhere' length of 57ft with excellent interior facilities, good storage and open spaciousness. She has been scrupulously maintained and her owner has spared no effort to present her in beautiful condition. She has been an excellent liveaboard and is ideal for this purpose or extended cruising.
