
General Description Kingfisher is a 45ft trad narrowboat built by David Piper. This is a particularly fine example full of the quality that made Piper's excellent reputation. Lovingly cared for by the owners externally and internally she is a delightful boat. Attractively styled paintwork sets off the fine lines of the hull. Water Heating - Calorifier. Water tank - Steel. Shower - yes. Toilet - Mansfield pump out. Oven and grill - Valor Vanette LPG. Hob - Valor Vanette LPG. Fridge - 12v electric. Lining material - pine tgv to deckhead, cabin and hull sides, teak faced ply bulkheads and furniture, afromosia trim with galley units in oak. Flooring - Carpet to saloon, vinyl to galley, solid oak timber to corridor and bedroom. Engine - Fully lined with boxing over engine. Bedroom - Fixed double with full height wardrobe. Shower Room - Self contained compartment with shower, vanity unit and toilet. Side Doors - to both sides with hatches over and 'storage' steps. Galley - compact and well appointed with good storeage and work surfaces. Houdini roof hatch over. Saloon - Very comfortable saloon with upholstered L-shaped seat (converts to double). Small folding table. Corner cupboard for TV and stereo. Solid fuel stove in tiled surround. Steps out through glazed bow doors to well deck. Forward well deck - Locker seats each side. Overview - As mentioned above this is a well built and well cared for boat. The quality and craftsmanship look as good today as when she was built.
